RoboCop the movie

Paul Verhoeven's comedy isn’t subtle. RoboCop can still enjoy it. Everything must attack the rich-poor divide and the nation's unrestrained industrialism. If you take a look at small parts of this dystopian society, like the news reports, the clear goals and vulgar advertising, it is easy to see the destructive nature of society’s desire to "advance." While it might seem absurd at first glance, given the current state businesses and their desire reach unsuspecting citizens, this reinforces Paul Verhoeven’s Robocop social commentary.
